Brittany works as an executive in the financial and banking industry in her professional life but spends her off work hours helping in any area of society she can. She wants to be an example to her child whose goal is to go into the Marines to serve our country after attending college. She has the passion and dedication for our service members, first responders, children, elderly, the most vulnerable in our society, and the innocence of animals. Brittany has volunteered with, sat on the board for, and been a found board member for several non-profits over the years. The example set by her grandfather as a Marine in WWII and the mentality of, “If you have the ability to help, you have the obligation to do so.” This includes animal rescue transportation and personally fostering over 200 animals in the last 17 years. Spending several years as a volunteer firefighter and first responder. Sitting on the board for an Arc location with intellectual and physical disabilities, forming and/or sitting on the board for two animal rescues, managing the donations and reporting for annual United Way fundraising efforts achieving record donations for a single 6-week campaign to support local families, and being a big sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Volunteer activities include several community focuses but does not encompass everything she has dedicated time to over the years as there is always a need and always a way to engage with helping her fellow man. In her off time from both work and volunteering she takes additional training in firearms, land navigation, emergency medical, caching, and radio communications.

Lori Flanagan

Lori currently resides in North Carolina. After high school she pursued a degree in Business Administration and Accounting at Seton Hall University and Strayer University. She is a wife, mother of two, an avid book reader, writer, and in her spare time works with many volunteer organizations. The organizations she is involved in range from assisting Veterans, Active Duty Military, and First Responders. She truly shines in her work with Search and Rescue and Disaster Relief organizations, in which she brings experience as a former EMT, Medic Assistant, Firefighter, SAR and Dispatcher. Lori’s passion for this organization comes from her previous experience in the field. While she is no longer physically able to participate, she enjoys giving her time to help make disaster search, recovery, and relief for those who are on the ground and those affected by the disaster, the resources they need to make things easier. 

Norabeth Dennis

Nora is a United States Coast Guard Veteran who proudly served her country for 10 years.
She has also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and Cardiac Technician.
She is a former member of the TT Battle Buddies Military Division,
where she provided peer to peer mental health support and assisted in searching for her brothers
and sisters in arms that were in crisis. Nora is continuing her efforts in helping others
that have been impacted by natural disasters. Mental health support and resources are
of the utmost importance to Nora and she knows that the impact of these disasters can be
detrimental to the survivors. Her passion is to be able to make their lives a little easier
by providing resources and other means to help get them through one day to the next.

There are many others who volunteer with the project, and we are thankful for their time, effort and love for what we do.
