Mitchell Relief Center
The Mitchell Relief Center is now open at 121 Harris St, Spruce Pine, NC 28777. Amenities include; 3 meals a day, hot showers, and sleeping quarters. You do not have to spend the night to be able to do laundry, shower, or eat. Services are free.

DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER
The Disaster Recovery Center located at the Mitchell County Senior Citizen’s Center 152 Ledger School Road, Bakersville, NC 28705 is now open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The DRC is where residents can meet FEMA staff, and apply for assistance in person. All centers are accessible to people with disabilities or access and functional needs and are equipped with assistive technology.

Starting Monday, Oct. 14, we will begin scheduling donation drop-off by appointments only. If you would like more information or wish to be notified about future donation opportunities, please contact our Volunteer Reception Center at 828-660-0818 or email volunteermitchell@gmail.com.
