HERNANDO COUNTY FLORIDA – Flooding
Hernando County is seeing historical flooding near and along the Withlacoochee River. Water is quickly rising in these areas, so please LEAVE NOW and get to higher ground.
If you are in need of a shelter, the Enrichment Center is still open and available. The Enrichment Center is located at
800 John Gary Grubbs Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34601 and is pet friendly.
Many roads are closed. If you must travel, navigate around them. Do NOT drive through floodwaters. If you are in danger, call 911.
Hernando County has constructed an emergency road so residents can evacuate the River Heights Subdivision.
